PHASE 2 OF THE RESTORATION
The restoration of the castel is supported by the State, the Île-de-France region and the Val-d’Oise County Council.
The next instalment of the restoration concerns the renovation of the covered enclosure with the emptying of the moats (flooded basements). The budget is more than 6 000 000 € (FAI) from 2019 to 2021. This phase is essential to save the castle because it is necessary to urgently restore:
- All structures and floors.
- The frame and the roof.
- Elements of facade decoration and ornaments of the roof in their version of the sixteenth and nineteenth century.
- More than 300 windows in a deplorable state.
- The clos to put an end to infiltrations and stop the water source conducive to the dry rot.

The importance of heritage
• Preserve the values
- Highlight the culture
- Witness the richness of our country
- Promote the attractiveness of the territory
It is with sad observation that we see pieces of heritage fall into ruin.
Today, it is one of the most important priorities for our country’s history and economy. Indeed, France has been one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world thanks to its historical sites!
” Heritage is our history and our culture, to share together. Our ambition is to serve local heritage, which makes our country a good place to live. “
