After nearly 10 years of restoration, the Château de Vigny is about to enter the third and final phase of its rescue: the restoration of its interiors, the renovation of its outbuildings, and the rehabilitation of its park.
Interior restauration
Damaged by time and partially dismantled to treat dry rot, the Château de Vigny’s exceptional interiors are now awaiting the chance to regain their former magnificence.
Outbuildings Restoration
The Château de Vigny includes around ten outbuildings (orangery, houses, manor, stables, Norman-style hamlet…), now severely affected by dry rot and in a state of advanced disrepair.
Parc Rehabilitation
The Château de Vigny is surrounded by a nearly 20-hectare wooded park. After years of neglect, the estate has gradually lost its historical structure and visual perspectives. A major landscape restoration project aims to revive its original design and enhance its biodiversity and public appeal.
